Tell me a little about yourself and/or The Venue at Birchwood.
The Venue at Birchwood is a family-run business with some of the most amazing people. I’m Logan, the girl behind all the social media. My mom, aunt, uncle, cousins, grandparents, and I all help Birchwood become what we have ever dreamed of. We are brand new and loving every moment with our couples and helping turn their special day into their dream wedding. We are so thankful for every couple that has booked with us, every vendor we have met, and our amazing community.
What are some of the things The Venue at Birchwood has that sets you apart from other Nashville wedding venues?
Two beautiful buildings for both ceremony and reception, all located at the same place. No flipping the venue, no rain plan, and all within seconds of each other. It’s our favorite part about Birchwood.
How many people can The Venue at Birchwood hold, both seated and standing?
We say between comfortably in the chapel around 200 (not including the standing bridal party), but we could go up to 220ish. The reception barn holds up to 245.
How much does renting The Venue at Birchwood cost, and what exactly does that include?
From March-November our Friday price is 7,000, Saturday is 9,000, Sunday is 6,000 and weekdays are 4,500. December-February have a 10% off those prices. Our pricing includes two climate-controlled buildings, farmhouse tables, cross-back wooden chairs, black wooden outdoor ceremony chairs, pews for the chapel, bridal and groom suites, sound systems, lighting, cocktail patio tables, outdoor games, 8ft and 5ft bar, warming kitchen and more. The list of all included is on our website.

Are couples free to hire their own vendors, or do you have a list of preferred vendors?
We provide our couples with a preferred vendors list, but they are welcome to bring in any vendors they choose.
What is your alcohol policy?
We definitely allow alcohol. The only thing is the bar service has to be licensed and insured.
If a wedding is outdoors, what is the contingency plan in case of bad weather?
One of our favorite parts about Birchwood is how easy it is to change from an outdoor ceremony to an indoor one in case of bad weather. We designed our venue to be two separate areas, so there is no flipping the venue due to rain. You can easily switch to our indoor, climate-controlled chapel without skipping a beat. We also have a weather enclosure on our covered porch for rainy or cold weather conditions.
Are there bridal rooms and groom’s suites to get ready in?
We have both a bridal suite with a private bathroom, makeup vanities, a dressing area, and access to a walkout porch and a groom’s suite with a private bathroom, tv, poker table, dressing area, dartboard, and private patio.
Can couples have their rehearsal dinner here? What about a morning-after mimosa brunch?
Yes! Couples getting married on a Friday can reserve the Thursday before for a rehearsal dinner at an additional 2,000 dollars. During this time, they can have their dinner, rehearse and start decorating. If you are getting married on a Saturday and wanted to book that Friday for a rehearsal dinner, you would have to pay the Friday wedding rate or have it on that Thursday.
How far in advance can a date be reserved?
A date can be reserved as far in advance as needed.
Do you have your own sound equipment and speakers, or will those need to be rented or provided by the entertainment?
We have our own sound equipments and speakers in the chapel, cocktail patio, and reception barn for any couple or DJ to use.
Will your staff be involved in setting up and breaking down the décor? In what capacity?
We always have two team members there day of to help in any way possible. Whether that be helping decorate, keep things on schedule, lighting candles, or whatever you need us to do, we are happy to do so!
What is the most common question you get asked by brides, and what is your answer?
Do you suggest a first look or a traditional first look at the alter? To be honest, we love both and see positives in both options. We do highly suggest a first look for multiple reasons. It takes a significant amount of pressure off of you and makes the ceremony more relaxed. You also get more pictures/video, you get the crying out of the way (so no one sees it if you don’t want them to), your guests don’t have a super long cocktail hour, and it’s an amazing private moment between you and your partner.
What’s your biggest tip for a couple planning their wedding day?
My biggest tip is to make sure you take little moments throughout your wedding day just for the two of you. This can be a first look, a few minutes alone after the ceremony, and/or a final dance at the end of the night with just you two in the room. These are the memories you’ll cherish so much.
