I want to start by saying that The Estate at Cherokee Dock is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! It is hands down my favorite Nashville wedding venue. It has so many locations for photos and video, all of them absolutely stunning.
Tell me a little about The Estate at Cherokee Dock.
The Estate at Cherokee Dock is a luxury wedding and event venue located just 35 minutes outside of Nashville in Lebanon, TN. Secluded on 13 acres of private property, The Estate retains the charm and grandeur you would expect, with original gardens, luxury stable, paddocks, guest house, pool house, eight-car garage, and more. It has undergone several renovations and additions over the years and now includes event spaces, both inside and out, transforming your unique day into a reality, all while being positioned on scenic acres of lakefront views.
What are some of the things The Estate at Cherokee Dock has that sets you apart from any other Nashville wedding venue?
The most unique aspect of The Estate at Cherokee Dock would be our overnight accommodations. Between our Mansion and Guest House, we are able to accommodate 30 – 40 overnight guests. One of our slogans is, “Not just a wedding day, but a wedding stay!” Our Wedding Weekend package is highly sought after and enables the couple and their closest family and friends to stay from Friday morning to Sunday afternoon. This enables you to truly enjoy your wedding and not have everything packed into one day. It is a fantastic experience and all of our couples have absolutely loved it!
How many people can the venue hold, both seated and standing?
Our Nashville wedding venue can accommodate up to 300 people seated & 500 standing.
How much does renting the venue cost, and what exactly does that include?
Pricing varies based on the date and desired wedding option. Our Intimate Wedding package starts at $3,500, and our full Wedding Weekend option is $26,500 during peak season. We also provide a mid-tier option, “Day Of Wedding,” that typically runs in the $7,500 – $12,500 range. What’s Included:
• Exclusive use of our 13-acre lakeside property. We reserve the entire property for one event per day.
• Our stunning 13,000 sq. ft colonial-style mansion, equipped with 8 bedrooms, 8 bathrooms, in-house movie theater, game room, guitar-shaped pool, and much more!
• Our Bridal Suite is a serene space that allows the bridal party to relax and pamper themselves. Designed for the bridal party to get ready in before the ceremony, the large windows welcome in the ideal natural light for taking photos and are great for peeking through as guests begin to arrive.
• The Groom’s Quarter is a relaxing loft located directly above the stables on our property. The groom and their groomsmen can prepare and relax before the ceremony begins. Equipped with a Master Suite, five bunks, kitchen, two showers, 60’’ TV, and gaming systems
• Our luxurious state-of-the-art Lakeview Event Center overlooks the beautiful Cumberland River and is surrounded with grand windows that allow for ample natural light and breathtaking views. Accompanied by an attached outdoor patio, catering kitchen, and luxury bathrooms.
What are the rates for different days of the week and times (Friday, Saturday, Sunday; morning, afternoon, evening)? What about different seasons?
Because we primarily rent out the venue for our Wedding Weekend, Fridays and Saturdays are unavailable by themselves. The rate for those days would be $26,500 for peak season ( April – November) and $19,500 for off-season (December – March). Our Sunday Rate is $7,500, and our Weekday rate is $5,500.
Is there parking available for guests? How many spots?
Yes. Our Nashville wedding venue has space for up to 300 cars.
Are couples free to hire their own vendors, or do you have a list of preferred vendors?
Yes, we have an open vendor policy. Our couples can use whoever they’d like as long as they are licensed and insured.
What is your alcohol policy?
Our couples can BYOB or hire a bar service. We simply require that a licensed bartender serves your drinks!
If a wedding is outdoors, what is the contingency plan in case of bad weather?
We have two built-in contingency plans in case of inclement weather. Both our expansive framed tent and event center are included and available for use.
Are there bridal rooms and groom’s suites to get ready in at The Estate at Cherokee Dock?
For our brides, we have our lovely Bridal Suite located on the third floor of the Mansion. The Bridal Suite is a serene space that allows the bridal party to relax and pamper themselves. Designed for the bridal party to get ready in before the ceremony, the large windows welcome in the ideal natural light for taking photos and are great for peeking through as guests begin to arrive. For our grooms, we have our Groom’s Quarter. The Groom’s Quarters is a relaxing loft located directly above the stables. The groom and their groomsmen can prepare and relax before the ceremony begins. It is equipped with a master suite, five bunks, a kitchen, two showers, 60’’ TV, and gaming systems.
Can couples have their rehearsal dinner here? What about a morning-after mimosa brunch?
Yes and Yes! When booking a Wedding Weekend, both options are included in your stay.
How far in advance can a date be reserved at The Estate at Cherokee Dock?
We book Wedding Weekends and Day Of Weddings as far in advance as you’d like. We just require a 40% deposit to save your date.
Do you have your own sound equipment and speakers, or will those need to be rented or provided by the entertainment?
We own a basic set of speakers, but we recommend renting from an entertainment company to really have a party.
Will your staff be involved in setting up and breaking down the décor? In what capacity?
Cherokee Dock staff will not be involved in setting up or tear down. We require our couples to hire a full-time wedding planner, and they will be responsible for this.
What is the most common question you get asked by brides and what is your answer?
The most common question we have had recently is about our Cancellation policy due to COVID. To which our answer is: “All payments are final and non-refundable. We want to ensure that you and your guests feel as comfortable as possible with your time at The Estate at Cherokee Dock. While we will not issue refunds for cancellations, we will work with you as much as possible on moving your Wedding to an available date that will better accommodate your event.
