I recently had the pleasure of doing a walkthrough of the brand new event space, The Saint Elle. I fell in love with the owner’s choice of the elegant and rich mixture of greens, black, gold, and white. It is hands down one of my favorite Nashville wedding venues (alongside their other venue, The Cordelle). View The Saint Elle’s website here.
We are the creators/owners/operators of the Cordelle in Downtown Nashville, and Saint Elle is our second venue located on Chestnut Hill in Wedgewood Houston. Inspired by architecture and hospitality, both venues began with historic structures and have been restored and renovated to be part of the modern world. Our focus is on thoughtful touches that make each event space unique and individual.
Saint Elle is in a 1950’s bow truss building. The curved roofline and floor-to-ceiling windows are very distinct to the architecture. When we were working on the creation of the brand, our goal was to create an approachable yet elevated event experience. The client & guest were a central focus when designing the venue’s flow and layout. I also think our mobile plant carts and trees are super unique to the space.
635 is our overall capacity for cocktail style or standing events. Since we opened in May 2020 and have had limited guest counts due to covid, our STE team has been working with different floor plans and has seen 450 seated throughout the venue with room for a stage, food stations, etc.
We have 50 parking spots at the venue, additional parking in the neighborhood as well.
Saint Elle has an open vendor policy, but we do require references for new vendors.
We require all events to use our “in house” bar service at Saint Elle. We offer packages, consumption, and cash bar offerings that fit a multitude of events and price points.
The SUITE located on the main level includes a private restroom, large 3 station vanity, lounge, and wet bar. The GREEN ROOM located on the lower level is a “vibey” lounge area for the grooms to relax and get ready onsite as well.
We often book back to back events at both of our venues, so any additional days and times would be considered a new rental.
We are currently booking 2022, but dates further out can be booked; it’s really up to the client.
We provide “restaurant-style” sound where we can utilize a client’s playlist for an event, but any live music or dance party entertainment would need a system provided by your entertainment.
Our staff works with the event planner to oversee the load-in, event, and load-out. We require all events to have a planner, and the set-up and breakdown of decor and rentals is their responsibility.
Can Saint Elle host both wedding and reception on site?? YES! We designed the space to function for that specific purpose.
What’s your biggest tip for a couple planning their wedding day? If you are working within a certain budget and looking for ways to save on cost, slimming down your guest count will be the most effective way of reducing the price tag on your big day!
